Abu Zubaydah, an alleged top recruiter for the terrorist organization al Qaeda was captured by Pakistani forces last Thursday. He was turned over to U.S. custody to be interrogated on everything he knows about the bin Laden’s nefarious network.

Zubaydah, completely unknown prior to the announcement of his capture, is being celebrated as the biggest victory yet in the U.S. government’s war on terror. Intelligence sources describe him as a key planner and a top recruiter for al Queda. Ari “Mr. Dramatic” Fleischer describes him as a tentacle of terror. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is certain that the new prisoner is the No. 2 man of global terror. However, if it turns out that he isn’t really the No. 2 man, Rumsfeld adds, “He’s really close to the No. 2 man.”

Most importantly, Abu Zubaydah was the chief architect of the diabolical Millennium Bomb Plot–something that not only never happened but probably would’ve never happened.

To secure his capture, he was shot several times. The Department of Defense confirms that Zubaydah is receiving the kind of care that one would get if they wanted that person to be around a long time for questioning. Whatever that means.

We are sure that the government is working hard to find the perpetrators of 9/11 but we find it very unusual that they are getting very excited about somebody who is probably a nobody just days after even the mainstream media began to question the U.S. decision to allow tribes of Afghanistan to sell opium poppies and manufacture heroin so that the nation of Afghanistan–the best earthly impersonation of the ninth level of hell–does not become destabilized.

It’s top notch use of American tax dollars and another step closer to eradicating terror.
