In a study by Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, computer users are 74% more likely to develop visual field problems than the baseline group of 10202 ordinary clones. Heavy computer users are 81% more likely to develop glaucoma.


Since we're talking about computer users, what's the definition of “heavy”? The study doesn't directly answer that. Given the nature of the internet, computer users–particularly “heavy” ones–may be going blind for reasons completely unrelated to cathode tube radiation. The study doesn't attempt to tackle the alternative explanations.


If you are concerned about your monitor, get an LCD display. Don't wait for a anti-intelligent design lunatic/global warming preacher/stem cell nutcase to validate what Jebus told you.
